Hi Juan - have you managed to sell it?

The numbers that you listed were gold and silver medals that their pianos won.
The list of medals started being molded into the frame from about 1899 on some pianos but not all. By the early 1900s this had become standard until the early 1930s, when they started to print the list instead sometimes.

Zeitter & Winkelmann exported a lot of pianos to South America, but It seems to be quite common for piano restorers there to paint over serial numbers, which is a real shame.

Do you have any photos of the instrument - I am researching this company and would be very grateful if you could send me any if you have any.
