Ok, now a similar question about Weber pianos.....comments anyone? Is it the same tortuous story of various Chinese provenances with certain amounts of European input?

Do any of these Chiman makes have a full height (131cm) upright in their range?

Cheers

Yes but they tend to be for the US market so the cases are not to European tastes

The Webers were made by Young Chang and marketed by Samsung up until a few years ago. If you've seen a brand new one it may well be Chinese, but I dunno who'll be making them.

North American market only I thought, but there were rumours that Costco branches in the UK were flogging the small grand model for less than 3k if you take it away.

What has piano buying come to? Images of local drugs baron buying one for his ho 'cos it'll look bling on the shagpile next to the Samsung widescreen. He can pick it up himself with a few homies in the Mitsu Warrior with privacy glass and private plate. Job done.
