A Chappell from the 1870s/early 1880s at a guess. We need pictures of the front, sides, inside and the serial number which you'll find inside near the tuning pins.

According to Pierce, that makes it 1973...which is unlikely! Are you sure that's the only number you can see?

probably starts 10XXX to 30XXX
heard that Chappell archives lost in a fire, so no history.
