Hyundai Vs Knight

Post by eddsan »

Hi

Ihave already posted a similar request, but I forgot to add the pictures of the pianos.

I have this problem to choose between a Knight piano 1961 and a Hyundai piano 2003. Both pianos are in an excellent condition, the touch and sound is also good in both. The price is the same Euro 750.

Hyundai is 10years old
Knight is 50 years old.

Any advice will be very much appreciated.

If you had to choose between 2 cars.... one was 10 years old, and one was 60 years old.... which one would you buy, and which one do you think would be more reliable?

I don't think I can help you in your choice for I can only choose between one piano and another by PLAYING the pianos and experiencing the feel/touch, the sound/tone, and the response of action and pedals. Commenting otherwise, I can only say that of the three pianos I am fortunate to own, if I could only keep one it would have to be my 1965 Knight Upright which I bought new and which is as good and satisfying to me today as it was when it was new. Of the other two pianos one is only six years old, but the Knight is still my favourite!
