I've been offered a Schiedmayer which has been well looked after. The number is: P12505.
Any idea of date etc?

Firstly, this number preceded by a P is not a serial number. More likely it is a dealer's stock number, so you need to look for other numbers - there may be several. Secondly, all Schiedmayers do not conform to the same numbers, what is the full and exact wording on the piano?
