The number suggests 1902, although life is not always that simple! Erard made some very fancy art cases around that time, is it one of them?

ERARD PIANO FRANCE.

Thankyou for the info on our Erard. In reply to , does it have a fancy case ?, the answer is no. However , it has been reffered to as an erard  rosewood by the very kind and talented man who re-strung and tuned it for us many years ago when we first aquired it. It is straight strung and does not have what our tuner says is a modern action . Does this give you any more hints ?

Thanks. The fact that it is rosewood and straight-strung doesn't help much, I would need detailed photos to compile a report. I would have thought that it would be a fairly advanced action by 1902.
