Who actualy manufactured this piano, which has a, by appointment badge on the iron frame.
Is it German Gotha, American, or English. As far as I can tell it is half Duo-art Aolian and still in good heart.
Looking forward to a reply,
Best regards to all,
Roy Good.

German makers George Steck and Weber went to America. Around 1840 and set up in 1857 Now in Germany 1857 Gotha was set up the pianos according to Pierce were different from the US ones in the UK Steck was controlled by Aeolian so it could be any of them but since you live in the UK there is a good chance it is the Aeolian one

Bill has 2 booklets on Players one free one and a more detailed on to buy see
