George Russell Piano history

I have just inherited a George Russell piano and am curious about the history and when it was made.

Nobody can tell you anything about the individual piano just from the name, George Russell pianos were made for over a century. If you can post photos here, or email them to me, to show what the whole piano looks like, I may be able to tell you more. Meanwhile, there is useful general information at

If you open the top, you will probably see some numbers, these may help. It is not possible to trace the history of an individual piano, but if you want to search inside it for clues, have a look at
