This is a square piano, and the name suggests that it was made before 1883, when the 2 partners had already formed separate businesses. My guess is it was made around 1863. Are there any numbers inside the top?

I found date 28.8.1866.
How much it would worth?

I am pleased that my estimate was not too far out. It may well be a tuner's mark, and the piano could be slightly earlier than 1866. I would be interested to know how and where the date is written, and if there are any serial numbers inside the top for comparison with Kaim pianos that do not have the date written in them.

Nobody can guess the value or condition of a piano without inspecting it.

Most antique pianos have very little value here in Britain unless they have been fully restored, I am offered several each year for nothing, to save them from destruction. Where in the world is this piano?
