How interesting. How delightful!

Been unable to cease whistling ''Cwcwll'' by Beganifs whilst preparing a tasty and delicious chicken and leek pie. Alaw sy'n newid y donfeddi donfedd, a'r don sy'n aflonydd......

A cracking piece of Welsh psychedelia the likes of which have not been seen since 'Maes B' by Y Blew in 1967.

All this Cymraeg is sending my spellchecker absolutely doo-lally.

I love seeing the spellcheck thing underlining everything in my Welsh emus. I hope one day to give it a nervous breakdown. Bendegedig!

I can't get the theme tune from Blakes 7 out of my head this morning, so I've just watched the full version on YouTube. I'd forgotten what an amazingly evocative piece of music it is.

(and that's your job up the swanee, Matthew Sweet!)

Well known theatre and cinema critic, and presenter of Sound of Cinema on Radio 3.

He famously was threatened with legal action by one former Radio 1 DJ turned rightwing extremist Mike Read because he gave one of his shows a bad review!

Spurred on by the mispronunciation of the current month on our in-store radio station, the song January February by Barbara Dickson.

Who I've always thought be re-named Barbara Diction as she has very good said act.

In the middle of the null season, I have awakened with a tune that for me, evokes proper days with daylight and temperatures of at least 18. Keith Mansfields' 'Light and Tuneful'.

The Ugly Bug Ball by Burl Ives. I was on the Portobello last week and I came across a compilation of Burl Ives songs but this wasn't on it.
