Woohoo, I got a dulcitone

Post by MarkGoodwinPianos » 17 Feb 2011, 10:14

I really love these things.
I saw one at the London piano auction place a few years back. I placed a bid but the price went way too high. I've been trying to buy them ever since. Anyway, I bought one this week privately and it's a very nice example. All the forks are present and it feels like it's in good condition. I haven't opened it up yet but I'll have a go at it over the weekend to free up the keys etc.

Anyone else got/had one?

Nearly bought one, but the price was too greedy so I didn't. Often look out for them though!
I play for my own amazement... :piano;

What a coincidence, a dulcitone has just been listed on ebay. It's in Somerset though :(
