Is there are a problem with the website or am I the only one experiencing problems accessing this website?

Several times the last couple of weeks I've not been able to get on. :x

Cheers Dave, just seen the message.

One thing that really winds me up is when you're online and you get on a website.

Sight reading is something that people either click with or else they will have a weakness in that area. HOWEVER, the people who can't sight read very well are stronger with improvisation and this is the reverse for people who legally need to follow music in order to play a tune.

I need to learn the difference between "site" reading and "sight" reading

I'm still struggling with Aurals, despite the decent mark I got - which has to have been a fluke.

Apart from that, for now, I'm quite happy with how things are going. I'm sure something will crop up soon that will get me as frustrated as you with SIGHT reading Dave. :D

dave brum wrote:Wrapped the Warninks, resisted the temptation to take a sneaky sip AND done my sight reading exercise for the day. AND I've gone and done it again!

I am very prone to hesitating all of a sudden in mid-exercise, even when I'm playing at dead slow speed. So hardly anything gets played at a consistent speed, much to my own personal frustration and shame. If only the ability to fluently sight read could be bought at Chappells in Soho or something!!!

By the way Q, Anna Moonlight used to call it shite reading!!! And aurals were my best mark in G2!!!

Well done Dave. I'm sure you'll get there in the end. Are you sure it was shite and not shight?
