What time is a reasonable time to stop ?

I was just wondering what fellow players consider a reasonable time to stop playing the piano in the evening?

I don't want to be inconsiderate, yet the neighbors I have aren't the type to approach and ask as they're more likely to be sniffing something up their nose. I have asked the 1 decent neighbor I have but she says she hasn't heard me playing. I think she might just be being polite so I wouldn't want to cause her a problem.

The latest time I had a lesson at home was 20:30 to 21:00. Is 21:00 too late do you think? I live in a block of flats but as I said before, neigbors upstairs hardly know what day it is let alone the time.

Please, be honest - if you consider 21:00 to be too late, please say.

Thanks :piano;

You say that, when I lived in a victorian terrace the walls where that thin, you could hear EVERYTHING. Especially in the, ahem, bathroom :roll:

Ahem, is your piano in the toilet too?

I've heard of taking a book, newspaper, radio to the loo, but a piano :D
