Bless the English climate!

Post by Nutroast »

Well, now I'm really hacked off! Earlier today, I couldn't even work, let alone think of piano practice due to my Reynauds kicking in  I have it all year round, but of course it's much worse when the weather's like this. I had no feeling in my fingers or toes for several hours. My thumbs were OK at least! When they finally come back to life, they hurt like hell and I then find any little cuts or knocks that I did when the blood was gone.

Sometimes, I "lose" my feet up to my ankles. The pic of my hands here is when it was getting better, it was dead beyond the 2nd joint of my fingers before.

Sorry, I just came in for a moan as I'm feeling sorry for myself! Just ignore me and hope that this doesn't kick in again tomorrow before my lesson!

Oh poor Jan,
I work with a lady, my friend, who has that plus another rotten condition, scleroderma, bless her. She wears little gloves when they are playing up. Hope your fingers came back for your lesson.
Kim.

Well I wouldn't say that the Northern Irish weather is much better, not moving much beyond 3C during the day and going down to OC (at best) in the evenings from around 6pm!

I went Christmas shopping this afternoon and my nose was near frozen off my face walking down the street!
