Eureka!

Traced that mysterious song that sounds like Helen Wheels. It is called Mother by Jerry Williams, who is a teenage singer songwriter from Hampshire, apparently.

Yes, but everything that could have gone wrong went wrong yesterday in work. It didn't help that I was still creamed from doing Christmas Chopin in central Birmingham the day before so I wasn't firing on all cylinders.

Re: The worst Christmas/winter song ever

Allow me to explain. Mister Hankey....the song, if one can refer to it as that, is from American adult animated cartoon series South Park, and due to the, shall we say, un-Christmassy nature of the video (which includes a singing and dancing turd) I shall decline from posting a link to it here. As f...

I was going to say yesterday's earworm was, yes it's true, I am happy to be stuck with you, you know I am, I really am, by Huey Lewis and the News. It was played again today as I suffered a mighty avalanche of bakery stock in the freezer crash to the ground.

I did manage to get some work done, and the weather cleared to leave a lovely warm day and 14 degrees, but I had a handbell gig to do at 1400 so I did everything but the coreopses and cleared a few loads of autumn leaves from the back whilst lunch was cooking. I sometimes wonder why Christmas is the only time they want to know how we are. Mrs.Brum has old work colleagues whom have our details but only send a card at Christmas and nothing else at spring summer autumn or the rest of the winter.
