IPA cleaner ( Isopropyl alcohol ) is less damaging, sometimes. I would then clean the area with a spray-on computer type foam cleaner to make sure you don't get any surprises a few months later.

I would suspect the tuning software. It's extremely unlikely that any Clavinova plays 47% sharp, esp. after re-setting it - they shouldn't even be able do that when they go seriously wrong. If you think that you're software is right, call Steve Marsden at Yamaha on 01908 366700.

Both headphone jacks are standard 1/4 inch stereo jacks. If you have problems inserting headphones into one of the jacks, there may be a problem with the socket. The socket has a switch to turn off the speakers, so this might explain both of you problems.

All Avant Grand pianos (N1, N2, N3) should comply with standard Yamaha Grand Piano regulation specs. If, after bedding in, there are still problems, any competent piano technician should be able to regulate it, as it is a standard (well, almost)grand piano action.

You would need to connect the MIDI out from the N3 to your computer. Then you need to connect the audio out from the computer to the AUX IN connectors on the N3. On the N3, you need to turn "LOCAL" off to stop the internal tone generator (see manual)

If the DP is supposed to be a substitute for an acoustic only for reasons of space, it might be worth looking at the Yamaha Avant Grand range.
