I've not seen the Roland yet, but I have seen (- taken apart, put back together and played around with) the Yamaha Avant Grand. Twice the price of a Roland, and definitley not portable, but in a different ballpark altogether compared to digital pianos as we know them.

I like Beyer and Sennheiser headphones. If the ones you choose don't have a long cable, just get a 1/4" stereo jack extension lead from your local music shop or the 'net. The only thing to check is the recommended impedance - if it's not in your manual, you might have to call Casio for that.

You can get around the language problem by fitting UK sourced ROMs. There are 2 of them, both normally fitted into IC sockets, so a swap is quite easy. (Part No. XD775C02 & XD776D00 - about £40 + P&P for the two from Yamaha Spares on 01908 3696210)

The Yamaha 'P' series (and probably the Radius) are produced by Kembles in Milton Keynes. Foreign parts (if any) probably come from Japan. If you buy a Kemble piano, chances are that the parts are the same as in similar Yamaha models produced by them.

I've not tried the Yamaha stuff, but I've had some good results with Meguiar's "No17 Clear Plastic Cleaner" followed by their "No10 Clear Plastic Polish" for slight scuff/swirl marks.
