Yes, but everything that could have gone wrong went wrong yesterday in work. It didn't help that I was still creamed from doing Christmas Chopin in central Birmingham the day before so I wasn't firing on all cylinders.

I sometimes wonder why Christmas is the only time they want to know how we are. Mrs.Brum has old work colleagues whom have our details but only send a card at Christmas and nothing else at spring summer autumn or the rest of the winter.

I'm on my fourth early shift today and it really is beginning to take it out of me now, as I'm also doing battle with the lack of natural daylight. Then it's one day off tomorrow and three more shifts, two normals and one early.

I really wouldn't have the time or energy to see a piano teacher.

Giving my Carols from Kings CD it's first airing of the season, got the Carol of the Dirty Socks on as I type. Back to work in the mawning, at least I'll be able to hear some of the shortlisted carols in this year's BBC Carol Competition on the way in, if I'm doing lates in December.
