As I was reading, I was starting to wonder if practice time was going to get a mention. A few hours will be more than enough I reckon! After about one hour, you'll be more than acquainted with the feel of the instrument. As someone who has never played a Steinway grand, I can't speak from experience...

The strange thing about keyboard action is that the voice setup and quality can also have a major impact too. In other words, which one sounded better? Personally, I think Kawai trails behind Yamaha or Roland.

Glad you got sorted. I didn't realise that the P-95 required you to go into a sub-menu. Mostly in those smaller stage pianos, Yamaha have a dedicated button for reverb that allows you to toggle through the various reverb presets.
