You are super, Bill! It actually says "17 Bold Street" and has "Colwyn Bay" stamp was in upper right hand corner of piano after front was removed. The piano people could not find any numbers.

Recently had my grandmothers piano shipped from Conway, Wales to here in Virginia. I do not know that much about it, other than it is a Van Giesen (Sp?). I would like to find out any history anyone may know about it...and esp. what type of wood it is made of. Any comments or thoughts are greatly app...
