I think it's best to ignore the specs and just try out the pianos yourself.
Your fingers and ears will tell you more than the specs will.

Yamaha reliability is excellent. In contrast, Kawai quality and reliability suffers badly. The Roland SN sound engine is better than what Yamaha has. Much better. Kawai keyboard action is king, better than the others. So take your pick. Yamaha for reliability. Roland for sound. Kawai for the action....

Hooey! The CLP and CVP lines use the SAME keyboards and SAME tone generators.
The differences are (1) the accompaniment features in the CVP line, (2) the cabinetry, and (3) the speakers.
Buy the CVP for the accompaniment features. Otherwise save thousands and get as good or better from a CLP model.
