I like that Roger and Val thing with Dawn French, though she looks really old and haggered in that. And Escape to the Country. Most of those country homes have some sort of piano in them.

...seems dave brum loves chavs just as much as I do. Did you hear the one about the open-minded Sun reader???

Though torture for me would be in a place of work with the radio constantly playing Crapital FM. Now I WOULD feel my human rights (and my intelligence) was being breached.

...but aside from bottoms, I did my keep fit today. I also try to have my 5 a day. I love oranges, especially the ones in Waitrose - they're really juicy and easy to peel too. Better than stuffing yourself with cakes!

Re: Piano Lounge Slimmers circle

Haha, I saw a female of the species of the lower class 'chav' sitting in a bus shelter (waiting for a bus to take her back to her council estate, quite obviously!) with a good four inches of 'builders crack' pressed up against the perspecs of the bus shelter. Some bloke came along and slapped the gl...

Well, we weren't posh! But I think we did it in a time before quality manufacturing became progressively cheapened by plastic items imported from abroad.

Re: POLL: Future of the Piano Lounge

Well, I really enjoy it and that's what counts at the end of the day! I do have a problem with dry hands though as they slip off the keys when I do my scales, so I have to physically lick my fingertips before practising. Very odd but necessary. Do you use handcream Gill??

perhaps this news report might clarify things:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-g ... t-17026172

so no football fans on here then???

Re: I'm flirting with the clarinet!

I, like most schoolkids of Albion had a go at the recorder when I was at junior school. I always used to have this habit of shoving the mouthpiece too far into my cakehole, until I discovered the taste of wood which was what my recorder was made of. No health and safety in those days but it was the ...

A very valid point Nutroast, I've tried to stock up on tablets before and been told all I can buy is two packets. Maybe you should have bought some Deep Heat or something!

Could only happen in the UK eh?? (where you can get a pizza faster than an ambulance!)
