Yes get it it does the lot and for a real bargain price I have one and its truly awesome although if he is young he may want a *keyfob flash drive so he can record stuff on it and put it on his PC - also can connect to his PC via a USB lead (not supplied) i got a 5 mtr one on ebay for 3 bucks DGX-62...
