Gabbrielle Williams I am a dedicated student hoping to go to Nottingham University to Study Music in order to become a professional musician or a music teacher. In order to show my enthusiasm and my passion for others and my school and social life, I have listed the excursions I have participated and been part of and this includes: - senior choir excursions to St. Phillips church and concerts within school. I have also been in concerts as a solo performance such as Hits from the Musicals (school productions)"Last night at the proms (school production) Christmas concerts and I have also created music for the different shows that I have been in or not been in, which shows that I am a very proficient and extrovert person who always surpasses potential. I am constantly there to give a helping hand even though they may not ask for it. I take pride in my work and what I do. I have also been part of a band but this has only happened twice in 2 years for a Christmas concert and twice when I played in ‘Hits from the Musicals’ in some songs. There was a junior band when I was in year 8 but that was abolished. In addition to this, I have also contributed and been part of outings outside of school. I participate in a choir (musical sections), which is based at "Church of God of Prophecy"(C.O.G.O.P) in Mansfield. The choir is asked to do a lot of event all year such as playing at different churches gospel concerts and conventions, birthdays and even wedding events. I am also part of a dance group called T.O.L.D. Within this group we have performed at the Stamping ground 06,07,08, Episodes 06,07,09,Showcase 02, 06,07,08 and we are aspiring to go to Barcelona for a competition in April 2009! The choir and the dance group have also performed at a B.M.E event celebrating Black History Month in October.
