Phil Best Phil's performances combine engaging and informal presentation with powerful and passionate musicality. His mission is to generate a level of excitement about the piano and its expressive possibilities that has not been known since the nineteenth century when it was a relatively new invention. Phil possesses a virtuoso technique whilst his remarkably fresh and natural way of playing brings an energy and excitement to both old and new music in a way that challenges stereotyped preconceptions about musical genres. If required, he can bring his own piano - the wonderful new Roland V-Piano. This instrument marks a breakthrough development in the piano's history and opens up enormous possibilities which Phil will explore and demonstrate. Hear the piano as it has never been heard before! He is available for... A wide variety of recital and concert work Session singing and piano/keyboard playing including programming. Phil is a fluent sight-reader & improviser Accompanying & coaching for recitals, examinations etc. - all instruments & styles - and repetiteur work for all genres of vocalist - Phil has German, French and Italian Weddings, parties and corporate functions (piano, voice or both) |
