Anna Ivanova Anna Ivanovna Ivanova's Summary Since my study at the Nazib Zhiganov Conservatory in Kazan where I achieved my Bachelor and Master's degree, I have had the chance to become teacher/piano specialist at Yoshkar Ola's (our republics Capital city) Music College. I won various piano competitions. In addition I did solo performances. After getting settled in Belgium I started as a concert master. I kept on studying and followed masterclasses of Jan Wijn of the Amsterdam Sweelinck conservatory. Later I got selected as a teacher for the Bechstein Pianoforte factories in Berlin. This also provided me the opportunity to do quite some concerts. As such I love to perform all kinds of classical music which I did and still do on various stages throughout Europe. Presently I am being coached by Joop Celis of the Maastricht Conservatory who I consider to be a great professional. A special moment for me was my concert on Franz Liszt's personal Bechstein piano in the Franz Liszt Museum in Weimar. As if this already was not an enough special moment by itself, I also recently have gotten the chance to make recordings on another personal Liszt Bechstein (# 576 supplied to Franz Liszt in 1862). In addition in 2012 I will give a concert on another Liszt grand piano which stands in the museum of Bologna. My musical interests are broad. Being Russian of course I love Rachmaninov, Prokovief etc. But living in the West I also got highly interested in other composers. A few of my favourites today are for example Satie and esspecially Liszt (of course).Of Liszt my preference is his later spiritual work . What to say more? Started pianolessons at 5 years old and since then allways in music.
