Maria-Neus Devesa Postgraduate Course in Accompanying (TCML), Cambridge Proficiency in English, Chamber Music Degree



After completing a Postgraduate Course in Accompanying at Trinity College of Music with Distinction and the Accompanist's Prize in 1996, and studying under the guidance of David Newbold, Julius Drake and Roger Vignoles, Maria-Neus is in great demand as a freelance accompanist in major European singing competitions, recitals and as a coach. She was also accompanist at language lessons for singers at Trinity between 1995-98. She has now got her own studio in Barcelona, and at the same time she has collaborated with institutions such as the Goodenough College, GSM&D, Liceu Opera House, Madrid High School of Singing and University of Barcelona. In 1999 Maria-Neus organized a recital of English music for violin and piano at the British Council Barcelona. She has also performed in the UK, Germany, Italy, France, Belgium, Spain and Andorra, and has recorded for the BBC and Spanish RNE .
