Educated at the Royal Northern College of Music, Magdalen College, Oxford, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and Clare College, Cambridge, Ceri Owen specializes is song accompaniment, though is also experienced as a soloist and chamber player. Having studied postgraduate piano and piano accompaniment at the GSMD, she has considerable experience as both an accompanist and a vocal coach. A pupil of Martin Roscoe for many years, she has received coaching from artists including Graham Johnson and Ann Murray. Now writing a DPhil (PhD) on English music at Magdalen College, Oxford, she also works as a pianist in both Cambridge and London, as well as in Oxford, where she is currently based.
