The August Forster factory was established in Lobau, Saxony in 1859 and the company has been passed down through family ownership. In the years of the German Democratic Republic August Forster suffered through a lack of materials and finance, but has flourished again since German re-unification. Annekatrin Forster now directs a skilled workforce in producing nearly 300 pianos per year, from the same original factory. These are world-class pianos, which in the past have been cherished by the likes of Sergei Prokofiev and Richard Strauss. A range of both upright and grand pianos is available at Peregrine's Pianos - Britain's only dealer in these instruments.
The make upright and grands equipped with silence system 128 sounds and 128 polyphonic voices. They have automatic player pianos with special features like karaoke files on video and pianomation .
They have a great automatic piano-bar, with a special lightning inside, developed by them: Videopixels with fantastic sound and automatic performances, hydraulic roof etc..
We have created our own digital pianos. The sound is made in France. All the design and featuring are created in France. We have two models : ONYX and Mathys.
